Payton is a 2023 graduate of Yuma Catholic High School. She will be attending The University of Arizona. Her major area of study is veterinary Science with a livestock industry focus.
She is a very active member of our community including 4H and FFA.
She helps students her own age how to properly care for and show their animals.

Mischa is a 2023 graduate of Cibola High School. She will be continuing her education by attending The University of Arizona. Her plan is to major in Veterinary Science.
She worked as a volunteer at The Humane Society of Yuma.
Her passion and love for animals is what led her to the decision to become a veterinarian.

Ellaina graduated from Antelope High and will be continuing her education by attending The University of Arizona later this year.
She has been a very active member of her community including her local 4H chapter and school. She has shown a dedicated interest in animals and the coming together of our community and has an amazingly bright future ahead of her.
We are honored to help her along this journey and see her grow.
Isabel is a Yuma County student attending The University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine. Her major area of study is Veterinary Science with an Emphasis in Applied Companion Animal Behavior with a minor in Animal Science. She wants to eventually return to Yuma as a full time mixed animal veterinarian.

The Yuma Kennel Club offers a scholarship each year to qualified high school seniors who plan to pursue higher education in an animal-related field. We provide the high schools with applications each year, or you may view the application and instructions below. Save these PDF files onto your computer.
Our annual scholarship committee reviews the applications we receive, and may interview students before making a decision. We usually award a scholarship to only one or two students each year. You will be notified within about four to six weeks after receipt of your application as to its status.
The completed application and appropriate documents should be postmarked no later than March 30, 2024 and mailed to:

POST SECONDARY SCHOLARSHIPS
The Yuma Kennel Club also awards scholarships to qualified post secondary students. Our review process is the same as outlined above for high school scholarships. .
